Dental Assistant Recognition Week 2016
They are one of the first faces to greet you at our office. They always follow up with you after your appointment. They have the perfect balance of knowledge and compassion. They are Farber Center dental assistants and we would like to take the time to acknowledge them. March 6th-12th is Dental Assistant Recognition Week.
It takes a unique and multi-faceted person to be a dental assistant. Their goal is to provide total patient care and make you feel as comfortable as possible during your visit. They are empathetic and serene to make sure you are physically, mentally, and emotionally comfortable in the chair throughout your experience.
This honed skill set is often taken for granted. Not only are they here to answer your questions, they need to intuitively know what the doctor needs during a procedure, albeit routine or complex. Often, their role goes beyond assisting the doctor when the patient is in the chair. There are many things that go on behind the scenes. Dental assistants coordinate orders with labs, with supplies for the office, and other such tasks which help the practice run smoothly.
We are proud to say that our dental assistants at Farber Center hit the mark on all of these qualities and high standards. Donna and Marie have great deal of experience behind them and they are continuously sharpening their skills, which must be how they make their job look easy. Our other outstanding assistants are Marianna, Michelle and Amanda, who are an excellent addition to the team. We would like to take this time to thank our dental assistants for all they do for Farber Center and for our patients.
