Dr. Farbers two main professional interests are the treatment of periodontal disease and dental implants. According to Dr. Farber, periodontal treatment helps patients keep their teeth through the establishment of healthy gum tissue and supporting bone. For patients who are missing some or all of their teeth, dental implants provide a natural-looking, stable alternative to conventional dentures, bridges, and partial or complete dentures, Dr. Farber explains to his patients that dental implants never develop decay nor require root canals, are generally more resistant to gum disease, and helps preserve the jawbone, which prevents premature aging.
Team Approach: Dr. Farber works in collaboration with other professionals to provide the highest level of service for his patients. Dr. Farber communicates regularly with restorative dentists and specialists in other disciplines to help coordinate care for patients whose treatment needs require a multi-disciplinary approach.
