Dr. Chris Chondrogiannis

Dr. Chris Chondrogiannis grew up in Queens, New York and is a graduate of New York University, College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and graduated in the Dean’s List in 1997. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Upon degree completion, Dr. Chondrogiannis accepted a General Practice residency at the Manhattan Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.

He served as Chief Resident, Dental Services, and completed a Post Graduate residency in Periodontics. Dr. Chondrogiannis has extensive experience in general dentistry as well as Periodontics and Dental Implant Tharepy. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Northeast Society of Periodontists, New York County Dental Society, American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Chondrogiannis is certified by the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry for proficiency in Dental Laser Surgery and is a certified LANAP clinician.

He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dentistry at the New York University Dental School Full Mouth Rehabilitation Clinic.

He has been honored by both the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association for his volunteering efforts following the events of September 11, 2001 and received a certificate of recognition by the Office of The Chief Medical Examiner of New York City and the American Academy of Periodontology for service to the Dental Identification Unit December 2001- May 2002 following the events of September 11, 2001. He received the New Dentist Leadership Award by the New York State Dental Association in 2003. Dr. Chris Chondrogiannis is also a Certified Pinhole Surgery Technique Clinician.
